Osteria Grande
Opened in June 2022, Osteria Grande is the new restaurant concept conceived and strongly desired by
chef and owner Fatjon Goga. His desire to get even closer to the spirit of the city, together with his strong love for art and beauty, led him to invest new energy in this place. Clear ideas, as is already stated in the name, the homage is to pure Italianness and to its city.
Osteria Grande aims to be a new reference for those arriving in the city and wish to enjoy a dinner or a moment of well-being immersed in an intimate, bourgeois, smart atmosphere, in harmonious continuity with the historical beauty of the square.
Cocktail Bar
In the Osteria you can also go for an aperitif or an after dinner, finding a drink list that includes both the great classics of the cocktail
international, and a personal interpretation of mixed drinking, contemporary and original. Among these the Balthazar; and also the Electric Margarita, the Flowers Field or the classic Pisco Sour.
CHEF FATJON GOGA
Born in 1991, Fatjon Goga was born in Albania but arrived in Italy as a child, where he grew up and fell in love with cooking very early on and immediately began taking his first steps in fine dining, driven by determination and the desire to learn. At 19 he worked as a commis in the kitchen of Don Alfonso and then in a resort in Montepulciano.
The ease of learning and the ability to get involved led him in 2015 to take over the management of the restaurant sector of the Marriott Hotel in Arezzo, where he opened his first fine dining restaurant Lo Zafferano which gave him the opportunity to develop his own cooking thoughts , thanks to the model of undisputed masters such as Ducasse and Marchesi.
Only a year later, he took over the management of the important and historic Ristorante dell’Amorosa, located within the Locanda dell’Amorosa village, which he and his staff continued until 2021.
